This episode is all about how I PIMPED my wedding! Meaning, how I added lots of plants to it. And also, how I made it uniquely mine. And even more, how I didn’t let my healthy habits compromise my happiness, nor let the happiness of my wedding drive me away from my health.
I hope this episode sheds a little light on some literal, tangible, recreatable things I did to infuse the prioritization of my wellbeing into a wild thing like a wedding. You’ll hear a little about my journey from sad girl dreading her eventual wedding day because she’d be too depressed, bloated or sick to enjoy it to a happy lady who just had her wedding day feeling more calm, healthy and confident than she ever could’ve imagined. Through it, I’ve learned that eating more plants than you do crap is a complete game-changer, as is prioritizing stress reduction over everything else, all while being as authentic and confidently YOURSELF as humanly possible. I’d say that’s the magic sauce. The secret sauce? MMM sauce, now i’m craving that butternut squash sauce on the gnocchi at the wedding…...
